With the #COVID19 restrictions decimating the Tasmanian taxi industry, perpetual taxi plate licence owners are receiving less than $60/week for their hard earned investment with many retirees forced back to work or forced to rely on Centrelink payments. This decimation and seek for financial compensation has fallen on deaf ears. This is political manipulation. We need a written promise that something will be done to help mum and dad retirees living off their superannuation /investments.
